My Opinion on;
Character in general: I think Sinister, like most complicated villains, is a hard character to really understand and play convincingly. He is not the typical villain; he is not trying to wipe out humanity or destroy the world or psychotically try and make it bend its knees to him. He has a particular goal and the single mindedness to achieve that goal by any means necessary. He’s also a genius and extreme talent in his field, but does not go around flaunting it to the public. He has the innate self assurance of his excellence. In fact, he doesn’t go out of his way to make himself publicly known at all. He spends most of his time scheming, poking his head out when it’s necessary, and in general approaches his plans with extreme meticulousness and intelligence. He is extremely methodical and does not require something as asinine and mundane as public fear or adoration. I’ve played similar villains myself, actually, so when I was looking for a Sinister to roleplay with, I was particularly critical that similar virtues would shine through. Anyways, in general, I find Sinister to be one of the best X-Men villains out there, and certainly one of the most interesting ones–his relationship with the character I play notwithstanding. How they play them: so, generally, I usually expect tumblr rpers to be little bitches when they play villains and try to make them “redeemable” or still try to find ships to make them “vulnerable” and “make them better people” or otherwise “make them misunderstood”. I hate that shit for villains that have never canonically (as far as I know) displayed any penchant or inclination to do so. Thankfully, when I found John’s Sinister, he didn’t do that, so I was like “thank fucking god”. John really reflects and respects Sinister’s “unusual” villain role in that he is really just trying to do his own thing and that happens to get at odds with the X-Men. I appreciate his comparisons between Sinister and Apocalypse, and find his headcanons on Sinister’s plans, introspection, and morals interesting and accurate. Further, they enhance Sinister’s character without making him cliche or simplistic. Rather, he is a complex villain that does not feel the need to explain himself to anybody, and has a particular standard of himself he holds himself to. As for his writing, I think my favorite part about it is how he writes Sinister’s dialogue. There is an air of refinement and age that is, one would expect, intrinsic given Sinister’s age and origins, as well as because of his education and general personality. His choice of words are very particular and give the air of something very educated and enjoys displaying it. They are also confident and self-assured; they are from a man that has no doubts about himself--which they should be! Sinister didn’t make it this far by being wishy-washy. He also tends to sound very dramatic which, let’s be real, is very on brand for someone who dresses the way he does. There are sometimes spelling errors that I notice, but overall, I almost never have complaints about their syntax or grammar--which is good, because that means they almost never have significant mistakes. The Mun: John seems chill. We haven’t shouted at each other a lot in OOC so like, you know, I don’t know shit about them, so they could actually be Sinister and I wouldn’t know, but from what I can tell, seems good.
Do I:
RP with them: ya we have 1 thread going and we’re plotting some shit rnWant to RP with them: i do not roleplay with people i do not want to.
What is my;
Overall Opinion: does too many biology/genetics jokes but overall u should follow them they’re the only legitimate Sinister on this god forsaken site as far as I’m concerned.
**Note: Mun’s answer are all to be completely honest. Don’t send url if you don’t want brutal honesty.

I’m glad u’ve been drinking your ‘Sinister is lawful evil’ juice too
LOOK AT HIM!!!!! THERE’S NO WAY HE’D BE ANYTHING ELSE!!!!
the man practically has a fetish for being orderly and following rules. they’re HIS rules but that’s also why they’re you know, the right ones. no man can love the scientific method that much and not be lawful evil.

Ya either look like a LARPer who’s cape got stuck in a shredder or like ya stole some of Momma Irene’s relatives clothes from their crypts...

His presence feels almost like a smog. Immediately, Remy draws a card and charges it, sneer pronounced, as he whips around. “Gimme one good reason I don' blow yo' face off right now, connasse.”
"Hey, you little shit, let's break in to Doom's place again."
“ FINALLY SOMEONE around here with some PANACHE and a SENSE OF HUMOR. Let’s be sure to trash his art collection this time, it’s stale and blandly egotistical not to mention he almost made me an installation one and i’m still bitter. ”
’ This is yet another example of the late neoclassic Baroque period. ’

She looks up at the piece he points at, her arms looped around his own as they stand together in the quiet of the museum, feeling like a proper lady for once-- an effect he increasingly had on her the more time they spent like this. School had always been a struggle for her so finding out she actually ENJOYED learning was an odd thrill and she came to relish these moments when she got the private undivided attention of a man like Sinister, who knew so much about what seemed like everything. She rested her head against his shoulder and listens intently as he explains, a soft smile playing on her lips.
