I'm beginning to feel that I'm kinda shitty to hang out with. Despite being in London a lot this summer, I still feel like I'm spending the summer worrying about spending loads of time on my own.

Hmmm....my thoughts on the Festival. I do admit to be absolutely thrilled with the majority of this festival. 

That familiar? OMG. OMG. GORGEOUS. And the fact that they’re going to retire? I could sing hallelujah. 

The apparel? Yeah, it’s a bit odd on a few breeds but I freaking LOVE it overall. It’s gorgeous. It matches the Sunchaser very well (which I don’t have and will never have and I’m fine with that) anddd it matches the familiar. It’s such a great piece, I’m thrilled. 

da crowns though. 

...I wanted crowns so bad. SO BAD. But these were not the crowns I was thinking. I was thinking something simpler, something easier to work with. Something that screamed less pompous, less gaudy...and something that could work on a variety of dragons with a variety of apparel. (You know, a subtler crown that could be a mark of royalty for clans who wanted that...and still a useable piece of apparel for those who have no royalty? These scream Old England Royalty to me and mehhh).

Part of me wants to hope until next month that they won’t just be recolours and that light got the shit end of the stick...but we all know that’s not the case. They’re like the sashes and the armbands, its gonna be a whole recolor deal. 

Instead I’m hoping they’ll grow on me, but I honestly don’t know. Add that to the fact that the prices for the repeating apparel is going up and I’m not digging that. 

Add all oft his to the bummer that they didn’t do anything with Baldwin for the festival. There was SO much they could have done with Baldwin to improve the festival. The most obvious one would be a way to get tablets from the pot...which would make the Festivals as a whole more accessible to those who can’t (or are plain sick of) coli grinding. But they didn’t even have to do that. There could have been an exclusive item(s) available through Baldwin.
