Fluffy headcanons for Weather Report

Weather is that kind of friend that doesn’t speak a lot but that can express everything in other ways. When he sees one of his friends feeling down, he just sits next to them, letting them drop their head on his shoulder while gently patting their hand; he’s the one who listens to their rambles while bringing them ice cream or chocolate of something that could make them feel warm and cozy. When he is the one who’s upset, he usually doesn’t say anything, keeping all inside; it’s easy to notice that he’s not in a good mood, as his eyes are not as gentle as usual and his jaw is tightened in a stressed grip. Being him a person who likes gestures over words, he would appreciate way more a simple hug than an articulate and encouraging discourse; he can feel their affection through the hug and this is what makes him smile again.
Weather doesn’t smile often. Not because he’s deeply stoic or similar, but there are few things that makes him so happy to make him smile also with his mouth and not only with his eyes. His friends, for once, are one of these things; the softest smile bends his lips and it’s such a gentle sight! If he has a s/o, they also absolutely are something that makes him sincerely smile! He just can’t help but smiling when he sees them; they’re like a sunshine…
Weather is a person who has very strong feelings. When he’s loyal to someone -and this someone has to show to be worth of his loyalty- he’s loyal to the end; same with hate and love. Weather doesn’t hate often, but the few times it happens, it’s forever; at the same time, when he falls in love with someone, his love is immense. Again, he shows it through gestures more than words. The way he hugs them, warmly and affectionately, the way he softly caresses their face and hair, as to impress in his mind their shape, how he instinctively puts himself in front of them if something dangerous is approaching, it all shows how deeply he loves them and cares for their safety. With him, a s/o would never feel alone or unwanted!
Weather’s hugs are gentle yet strong and protective. He never tightens too much, but he manages to transmit all his affection anyway. He also likes a lot when his friends or partner hug him first; it always makes him softly smile, as he rests his cheek on their head -he’s a tall man, he’s used to be taller than his friends or partner-. He’s good at giving cuddles, soft and delicate, but he also loves to receive, and it makes him relax like nothing else.
When he’s sleepy, he’s more clingy than usual, gripping at his s/o and hugging them tightly while resting his head on their shoulder or chest. He loves to listen to their heartbeat; it relaxes him so much! If they start to gently pet his hair, he’d hum in happiness, slowly waking up in the best way. He’d be absolutely happy to be able to stay in bed with them for few more minutes, just enjoying each other’s company as the world slowly wakes up with them.
