Playing a tank has made me a better healer, but it's also made me a much crankier healer because now I know exactly what the idiot tank is doing wrong that's getting us all killed.

So, my character is a girl and I am a real girl but I was kinda shocked today. It's not the first time some "men" do weird stuff, but today I was in a raid and there was a man literally behind my character trying to "mimic" a sexual intercourse with emotes... literally what's wrong with people

One of the first dungeons i went into in warcraft, i was a female draenei shaman, and even tho I didn’t know my sexuality at the time, i made sure she was really cute bc hell YEAH i’m gonna play a character i like staring at.

Sadly so did these fuckers who immediately stood around me like they were cornering me and started saying “ooo we got a cute one this time” 

i left instantly and didn’t try dungeons again for almost a year

Just found this blog, thought I’d share my proudest comeback as a healer.

Pulling asshat DPS: why didn’t you heal me?

Me: Because you deliberately pulled that extra pack and almost caused a wipe

Asshat: Dude, don’t be petty

Me: I main healer specifically to be petty.

To his credit, he didn’t pull after that.

I main a WHM and I've recently left a static I co-created. I noticed that the raiding community is full of elitism and it was so very toxic. I think FFXIV has started to feel like that more from even the casual players, which is not something I ever expected. Some new players even talk down to people. I just don't get it. It's been worse and worse healing in this game on even a casual level because of how hostile people are. It's so sad.

I got talked down to just this morning by a tank with the mentor icon because i was lagging out while on my secondary character, who still has a green leaf.I was getting hit by one-shot aoes because my lag wouldn’t let me escape them, which I explained. He then continued to bring up the bombs in nearly every room after it until I just left the party. 

Talking down to players is the FASTEST WAY to make sure no one enjoys the game, let alone being around you.

I’m gonna need these tank to stop with that stupid trend of turning their tank stance off when they’re being surrounded by like 5+ enemies. You’re not doing anyone favors.
