Two little notes!

First off, welcome @banirareiko and @tammyisobsessedwith to the team. The new girls are helping us with this month's task of whittling down that inbox! Look out for their prompts soon!

Also, regarding the inbox, it will be getting closed for a little while, just so we can catch up on all the asks we currently have! There's a lot in there, and like previously stated, this month we're focusing on clearing it down to a less wowza level. We love hearing your prompts though, so keep an eye out for when we open back up!

I seriously CANNOT thank you all enough for what this means to me and how sweet this is of you guys, thank you so, so much, I’m gonna keep working hard and I hope they’re good and you all are happy and enjoy them!

As a general note for the requests, tumblr is my main form of getting in contact with you guys, so if I have questions or need to make some changes with the request because I know I didn’t put specific guidelines, here is where I will reach you and where you can reach me unless you want to PM me thru FF or ao3 or discord or here!

I’m CLOSING requests on batman related stuff and Nascent tentatively right now because there was a huge amount of them and I love it all, you guys are so sweet and cute, I just had a few that asked for a lot of stuff that would spoil the story so I’m capping it for now XD

Everything else has been chill so far, but I will let anyone know if I might need to work around your request or offer something else in case of spoilers.

A few people also asked about requesting updates for stories, and I’m deadass, so, so touched that you would donate money for them, but I won’t take it because I don’t feel right taking money for stories I write for fun and you guys already do enough by just enjoying them. I have a lot of fun writing Locked Here for Forever and I will definitely update it soon! So I don’t want to take money from you guys for that, you already do enough enjoying it and reading so just keep enjoying it! The requests are okay because it’s stuff outside the stories or more snippets of stuff I wouldn’t get too otherwise.

This is yet another example. This is not an ok thing to do. People should not be sending hate to the actors or actresses who are playing a character. The issues portrayed on the show don’t attach themselves outside of that. There are lots of things to remember.

13 reasons why is a TV adaptation of a book these people are real people but their characters are not a reflection of who they are outside of the TV show. These people are not their characters 24/7.

The words that are thrown out on a daily basis are making it that much harder for the people to stay on social media because they are having to speak up for their fellow cast mates as well as themselves. You send something and it’s out there. The amount of hate is unreal and hurtful. For a show to have such hate towards the portrayal of issues and then hating of the cast or story line based on writing makes it more difficult when they get asked how to feel. It’s already tough to be in on a show that deals with heavy topics but to be degraded and trashed in such a hateful way is just heartbreaking to see and hear about. Words are very powerful and the way you feel about a character should never translate over to how you feel about the actual actors who are bringing that said character to life.
