There’s always that grace period when you get a new tarot/oracle deck and it’s a bit temperamental and the readings don’t really make sense. Sometimes that grace period takes days, or weeks, of extreme bonding with the deck to get over.

Or, if it’s my Gravity Falls decks, it takes approximately the amount of time needed to unscrew the cap and pull the first card because fuck me I just got vibe checked so hard I saw stars.

🌿💵☘️Money Jar Spell ☘️💵🌿

So I have a friend in real need of financial stability and help, so I whipped this bad boy up for her. Feel free to sub ANYTHING with what you have on hand or associate things with.

Purpose: For quick, but consistent monetary gain.

You’ll need:

- A jar

- Salt - Purity of heart and intention.

- Garnet pieces - Prosperity and financial strength. Good luck in business.

- Jasmine flowers - Money, y’all.

- Bayleaf - Wishes. For scribing an intention.

- Paprika - An extra power boost.

- Coffee grounds - Coffee is a stimulant. To make this move quickly.

- Coin(s) - Money, of course. I used a single penny, head’s up, for a lucky penny.

- Sigil (optional)

- Green candle - Money and prosperity

Write your intention on a bayleaf. I chose something along the lines of “Money comes to me quickly and consistently, with harm and ill will to no one.”

Place ingredients into jar. Order doesn’t entirely matter - get aesthetic if you please. I chose to place everything in the order as written, but that part is up to you! I strongly recommend the lucky penny at the top, however!

Close your jar up - I had a vial that had a cork top. On the cork, I drew up a sigil, but that’s optional. I won’t provide the one I drew because it’s personal to my friend.

I lit the green candle and melted just enough wax on the edges to seal the jar, as well as enough to cover the sigil to charge.

Final steps:

Bury the jar by your front door. If not feasible, keep near a PiggyBank, in a place you frequent a lot, in a desk drawer at work, or anywhere that feels comfortable. The placing by your front door is meant to draw the spell onwards and toward you. Get creative!

Once you see your spell come to fruition, open your jar and dispose of the contents as you please, whether burning or just tossing away. Clean your jar and either save for future use or dispose of properly based on what its made of.

Finally: after your spell is complete, say thank you! Give up an offering to your deity, pour some wine into the earth, let a white candle burn out, or donate to an organization or charity that’s important to you as a way to give back.

while ‘witch’ may be an aesthetic for some people, please remember that to other people, it’s a sincere and serious spiritual practice/religion that deserves respect.
