Superstitions!
The following list are some of the superstitions that Iβve heard or learned about over the years, in no particular order: β’ Throw rice in the air to make it rain β’ Carry a potato during winter to ward against colds β’ Smell dill to get rid of hiccups β’ Lay thorn branches by your doorstep to keep evil away β’ Place chips of cedarwood in a box with coins do draw money to you β’ Hang seaweed in the kitchen to ward off evil spirits β’ Burn allspice to draw money, luck, and healing β’ Place a piece of cotton in a sugar bowl to draw good luck to your home β’ Scatter chili flakes around your house to break a curse β’ Scatter salt/sugar to purify a room β’ Put a pine branch above your bed to ward off illness β’ Carry a chunk of dried pineapple to draw luck β’ Ask an orange a question before you eat it, then count the seeds. Even # = no. Odd # = yes β’ Toss oats outside your back door to ensure beautiful crops/plants β’ Place lilacs around the house to rid unwanted spirits β’ Add salt to bath for purification β’ Write your sigils on stones and carry them with you β’ Put sigils on medication bottles to help quicken their efficiency or for added healing benefits β’ When guests come over, light a white candle by the door; it will take their negative energy and purify the home. β’ To get rid of guests overstaying their welcome, turn any broom in your house upside down (bristles up) β’ Toss salt on the front porch every Friday for good luck and prosperity β’ Carry a blade of grass to increase psychic power β’ If something or someone is bugging you, write it on toilet paper, wipe, and flush it down the toilet

Anatomy of a Spell
This post will go over what is needed for a spell to be created!
This is a page from my grimoire and by no means is this a set-in-stone situation. Take what you will and leave what you won't.
Desire or intent. This is the whole point of the spell. What is the desired outcome, what do you want to achieve from this spell?
Planning of ingredients, spell structure, time, and location. This includes the verbal or written aspect of the spell if any.
Protection, thereβs really no reason not to have a safeguard on your spell in my opinion but this isn't true for everyone. Do what feels right for you.
Raising, gathering, or building energy for the spell. Energy is how you get your spell to work. This can be done by chanting, breathwork, borrowing energy, and more.
Directing energy into the spell. Self-explanatory, gotta get it in there somehow. Basically just getting the intent/desire from inside you to inside the spell so that it can work its magic (pun intended).
Release any excess energy if needed. Grounding is a good way to do this.
Clear and concise ending; this could be a phrase, word, or physical act that indicates the ending of the spell. Itβs best when everyone and everything involved knows when you have ceased doing the spell.
Extras:
Itβs a good idea to record your process and results of the spells you create and cast so that you have a reference for future spells; also you can figure out what went wrong or right.
I personally think itβs a good idea to put a fail-safe in a spell, I usually do this by stating it out loud: i.e. βIf I take apart this spell bag then the spell will cease.β or βIf I do this spell in reverse the spell will cease/reverseβ and so on.
Preparing the physical and non-physical things for the spell; can mean gathering, cleansing, or preparing yourself to be in the headspace needed for the spell. It's better to be prepared than to get blindsided halfway through because youβre missing something!

Crow Counting
Counting Crows has been a popular method of Fortune Telling for hundreds of years. Depending on how many crows you see, you can get estimates for what the future may hold
(1) One Crow: Signifies Bad Luck, possibly Death. Can also represent change
(2) Two Crows: Good Luck, Change for the Better
(3) Three Crows: A celebration, possibly the marriage or birth of a girl
(4) Four Crows: Birth of a Boy, or a significant event to do with a Son
(5) Five Crows: A positive transaction
(6) Six Crows: A secret
(8) Eight Crows: Something profound, or a life-altering experience
(9) Nine Crows: Signifies Passion, or something sensual
(10) Ten Crows: Denotes something overwhelming
(11) Eleven Crows: Uncertainty
(12) Twelve Crows: Fulfillment
