"ALBERT JEAN PHILLPE FRANCIS DU'GALLE!"
Albert had been trying to focus. The researcher was with a small group in the company greenhouse where a technician was explaining the progress one of the newest bio products.
Until the loud auditory and mental bellow had reached all of them. King, on his left, had actually flinched under the sheer heat and strength of the roar. Albert's mate Katherine, sometimes known as Empress, had not physically reacted but Albert sensed her mental hackles raise. Though they lowered slightly when they all recognized the mental signature.
A quick snap of his fingers and pointing at the technician had made the woman clamp her mouth shut. "Stay here." Then wordlessly, he exited the greenhouse and down a shorthall that led back into the main lobby of his company.
Standing in the middle of the floor with everyone else staring at him warily was one Major General Augustus Yen. The general had clearly just come from the training grounds. The ebony and crimson combat armor was mud streaked and some patches of filth clung to the general's visage. It would have presented for an amusing image if it wasn't for the fact the glare that Yen was shooting Albert at the moment was lethal.
Albert heard King give a low growl as the Chief of Security edged slightly in front of his employer. Taking a heartbeat to compose himself, Albert gave Yen a cool look.
"Is there something you need General?"
