Who is Fuerza Tigre? Five years ago my battle against ALS began. Amid the pain, fear and frustration one day in prayer I remembered a memory that made me very happy! When I turned seven my dad gave me a toy, at first I didn't know what it was but when I went out to play with my friends I realized that everyone was playing with them. The toy was Backblast! That's how trying to recreate those memories as a child I began to collect, I'm not close to my goal but the happiness I feel every time I find one of my toys helps me fight the good fight! Over the years, Sgt. Slaughter has headed several teams of GI Joe operatives. The first of these was the Renegades, a group of three misfits hardly fit for duty, who he turned into bona fide soldiers to make use of on 'off the book' missions. The Renegades consist of ex-football player Red Dog, former circus strongman Taurus, and ex-Cobra Viper Mercer. Their base of operation is a secret location codenamed "The Slaughterhouse". His second team built on this success. The idea was, if he could turn a group of goons into Joes, what could he do with a team of actual Joes, given the time? The result of that work was the Marauders, and was highly successful in its anti-Cobra activities. The Sgt. Slaughter's Renegades three-pack was first released as part of the sixth series in 1987. The set was also available in 1988 and was discontinued in 1989.

Tunnel Rat was first released as part of the sixth series (1987). He was also available in 1988 and was discontinued in 1989. Tunnel Rat was sculpted to be Larry Hama! Tunnel Rat’s family tree is Trinidadian Chinese with branches of Irish, Spanish and Indian thrown in. He grew up mean in the streets of Brooklyn, got tough on the Ranger Course at Fort Benning and honed his skills in Grenada. He is a qualified expert with all NATO small arms and is familiar with most Warsaw Pact explosive devices. Tunnel Rat believes that anything that doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. His feeling about crawling into an enemy tunnel with a knife in one hand, a pistol in the other and a flashlight in his mouth is simple—he can shoot straighter, bite harder and run faster than anything he’s ever encountered in a tunnel, so why worry

Not vintage but I love this bad boy! The H.A.V.O.C. Heavy Assault Vehicle Ordnance Carrier MK-II was released in 2014 as an Official G.I.Joe Collectors Club exclusive. The H.A.V.O.C. MK-II was also available at the 2014 International G.I.Joe Convention in Dallas, TX
