Nothing like dropping some money on a Crashdïet order. This “Sick Mind” re-release has my head all in a tizzy and they restocked my Simon hoodie which I bought a few years ago, but it’s a small or xs from when I was skinny. So I got my CD, cassette, tee and hoodie. ☺️

The first time I saw this video, it was like a revelation to me. People can be androgynous with big hair and makeup without being stuck in the ’80s? (Not that Crashdïet isn’t a modern day ’80s band.) It was after seeing this that my aesthetic moved past just “Rob Halford with long hair” to what it is today.
Maybe life isn't hard for everyone in the same class as me. Maybe some of you are living more or less comfortably in your seats in front of a TV every evening. Maybe you think we're all good. Comfortable. Could be worse, could be better. Maybe my life sucks ass so much because it's trying to show me something. All the shit that's going on. And how unimportant we are. Yes. WE. You. And you over there too. And me. We don't matter. We pay our taxes but our lives are not important to those who rule us. And rule they do. Is democracy about people ruling themselves? Seems not. Or has it been working well for you? The system that allows for the lesser evil to win election (because hey, there's no one even remotely good out there to vote for!).
Are YOU happy with your leaders? Are they leaders or rulers? Are they leading YOU to a better happier brighter future? THE HELL THEY AREN'T. Are you scared? Are you scared of what happens if you don't pay your dues? Are you scared of what happens when you do pay your dues? If you care about stuff, about the bigger picture, about other human beings around you, even that stranger on a bus next to you; well if you care you'll get in trouble.
Caring is not fashionable. The authority doesn't like people who care. They're to be kept down. Quiet. "Peace". Why stirring into action for a good cause when it will cost you dear?
Take no more fear control.
Crashdiet is my new obsession.
