It's stupid to talk unity and harmony when the fact is there is division, hate, and aggression between people. Romanticism is an escape and deludes the mind, and a mind indulged on delusions is stuck in illusion. Illusion leads to confusion. In confusion there is self-pity, antagonism, conflict, blame, loneliness, selfishness, and subtle violence(pettiness) and distraction. Sex and love have become distractions. Abuse and misuse. This development continuously breeds anger, resentment, chaos, and further tension. In that, there is isolation and insecurity, a myopic enclosure that narrows views to pit one another against each other. Reckless abandon ensues and that brings instability. Leading the mind to be unstable is a series of actions(doing). When we aren't accountable for our part, direct or indirect, we enable more hurt and sorrow to propagate. Seeking pleasure is the result. Not being responsible with that energy builds to a point where extremes are demanded, stimulation, more sensations, more experiences, all means of eluding the fact.
