Generation Dog
Maki is typically and usually a name called for the Japanese rice food. But for me and my family, it's a loving dog who provides help and eases the pain for everyone. Maki is the dog not just by one family, but by the whole clan.
A dog owned by the second eldest nephew of the 10 children of my Grandparents, closest to the second son of that cousin of mine. Maki is already old, being almost 6 years old, that is already an adult for a dog's life. He became part of the family with two bestfriends (the 2 sons of my cousin) and indeed I saw how the life of my nephews altered from being enveloped by dolefulness, to being enlightened and blissful.
Maki is always brought to clan get togethers and outings. He is actually a travelling dog too because the family he has now loves to travel to places and because our clan always go out ok a vacation to different places too. This dog is really lucky with the family he has as he can enjoy the freedom of going to places and smother the grass as he runs to the fields of everywhere we go.
Maki's family prospers in life so he got what he needs. If he wants food, they'll give him some. Whatever he wants, they will provide as they already consider him as their son as well. He always gets to be groomed too.
Maki is the dog of the generation of our clan as he was petted by my grandmother who has already passed away and until now, Maki is still running to the scapes of wherever they go. He has seen us grow and develop, he has seen new members of the family join the clan.
Two years ago his new baby brother came to this world. Another member of the family he belongs. I saw how Maki took care of his new baby brother. How patient he is as Adam plays with him and even rides him even if he is too big and heavy. Maki is a big brother too, a loving and caring big brother.
On my perspective and experiences with him, I can say that he is the best dog in this world. He lacks the skills and doesn't understand our commands but I know that he understands us. He knows what we're saying and I know how much our clan loves him and appreciate his existence for providing us the love we need, how he lifts our spirits up, and how he tales care of the youngest member of our clan. Indeed, Maki, you are the greates dog and gift a clan can ever receive from heaven.
