Been meaning to dive into this one for a long time now. I met the author @genesedavis at #WWCC in New Orleans at the beginning of this year. Walked into one of her panels on a whim and was blown away at how entertaining and insightful she was. I got to talk to her after the panel and she was so genuine and kind. She invited me to walk with her back to her booth after the panel and we had an amazing conversation about the creative process and working in the creative industry that still sticks with me to this day. I never felt like she was just giving me canned, generic answers/advice. I felt like she was genuinely invested in what I had to say and that day she made a life long fan!
