i think i've owned it for around 7 months now but i... haven't actually played any of it yet ... ..
you should try it out! i remembering liking the way the magic system was set up (YOU CAN DO BLOOD MAGIC) and the different...organizations (?) fighting each other. the combat is kind of tricky though and there are overpowered enemies in fairly early areas, which is weird?
also you can't 'turn off' seeing/interacting with other online players everywhere doing their thing. which is super distracting when you're trying to do story missions on your own tbh

he tries to impress sniper wolf by telling her about like wolf’s rain or whatever that one wolf anime is and the situation gets so awkward that no one even wants to say anything
otacon trying to explain why the wolves in wolf's rain look like wolves in some scenes and then they look like people and he just trails off into the plot of the show and never realizes that No One Understands (not even sniper wolf)
