Purgatory: A RP with genetictestsubject
Conquering the universe had always been the most important achievement for mankind. We would literally do anything in order to achieve it, no matter of the cost that followed. And aboard the USG Alexandre, the most advanced intergalactic space vessel, the crew of it were also a part of the notion of conquering the universe as well. But except for a few crew that didn't think so. Among them, was a physicist named Ezio Auditore. Ezio was among the first to be selected into the crew. Since he had a Ph.D. in astrophysics. He was approached by the CEC, begging and convincing him to join the mission. He finally agreed. The journey didn't take long since the ShockPoint Drive was invented, allowing human to travel further into the unknown.
The USG Alexandre was heading towards to a planet named Aegis VII. The reason why they were heading there because a few weeks ago, the Arecibo Observatory picked up a strong signal from the Aegis VII. A few days later, the signal was confirmed as the Marker signal. Ezio was the only one who felt that there was something behind this mission, a hidden agenda that the company didn't want them to know. "They should be more truthful to us." said Ezio, to the crew. "Who?" asked Dr. Meredith Shawn, the archaeologist. "CEC. I mean, why did they want to send us here to Aegis VII? Hasn't this planet already been terraformed? There's a human colony there. So, why bother us?" Ezio raised his eyebrows. "That's an interesting question, Dr. Auditore. It got me thinking." said Meredith as she was thinking about it as well. "Come on, you two. At least they're going to pay us with a large sum of money." The voice came from behind Ezio. It was Dr. Alexander Zerick, the biologist. "Yeah, well. But will it going to be worth enough?" asked Ezio. "I'm sure it will be, my friend." replied Alexander, with a smirk on his face. Then, there was an announcement throughout the ship. "T-Minus 10 minutes to destination point. All crew on the deck immediately." Ezio, Meredith and Alexander left the room they were in and walked straight to the flight control section. The flight control was consisted of Zachary Starlight, the captain of the ship. On the left to Zachary, there were Elizabeth Lee and Anthony Dorrorway - both of them were the ship's pilot. Behind the seat of Elizabeth, there was Johann Striker - the medic. On the right of Johann, it was Dr. Sonita Dreyman - the biologist. "Alright, ladies and gentlmen, we're heading into Aegis VII" announced Zachary. The ship came closer to the planet and drove into it through the atmosphere. Ezio was sitting on the back of the flight control, next to Meredith. "Hey, Meredith. When we're down there, wake me up, okay?" asked Ezio. "I will." said Meredith. Ezio closed his eyes and hoping that this mission would be a success.
Ezio smelled something that made him felt sick. He opened his eyes and his found himself on a pool of blood. "What the fuck?" Ezio observed the dead body besides him. It was Meredith. "Oh God, no." Ezio held Meredith in his arms, moaning for her death. Her body was cut off in half, with Ezio holding the upper part of the body. As he looked around, he noticed that the metallic wall was covered with graffiti written in blood. "Make Us Whole? What does it mean?" asked Ezio. Suddenly, he heard something and then he saw a figure in front of him - a woman to be precise. "Where am I?" asked Ezio, with his voice showing the feeling of dread.
"Loki?"
“Apollo! How do you fare?” Loki asks, rushing to her side and pulling her up into a quick hug, literally picking her up from the ground, before setting her down.

Dear Apollo,
I'm glad to have met you, even if it was only for a brief period of time. You entranced me with your way of looking at life, and the unique purposes that you serve. I especially enjoyed the way you said that I made you soft, because you had the similar effect on me. I suppose we just understood each other, which is new for me. It is quiet hard to understand the God former God of Mischief. Remember that just because you were built for evil purposes or intent does not mean that you have to do them. If you are on the light path, then take the light path.
