As we are aggressively booping each other, do we think Genma and Hayate would have a cat? I get the idea that one of them just randomly shows up with one (or two) one day and says “these are ours now”

Funny story but I actually wrote smth similar to this a while ago. Thinking about it now I can say that it feels like they don’t really adopt a cat directly but a lot of ninnekos and semi-stray cats come to their windows. Like, you know, those cats that aren’t really domestic ones since they come and go as they please, but these ones are definitely obsessed with how warm Genma’s shoulders are or how Hayate pets them.

Conclusion: a lot of stray cats enjoying their lives, a very happy Genma surrounded by said cats and a very confused Hayate (“where did they come from? Are those someone’s summons???”)
