What Kind of Snacks Do You Feed Blondi?

Editors and journalists from 'legitimate' media often tout themselves as superior to bloggers and the like because, as seasoned pros, they supposedly provide 'news judgement' and 'context' that the public would otherwise lack.

But don't look for any context or news judgement in The Globe and Mail's simperingly uncritical look 'Inside Hamas.' Worst of all is their feature which allows readers to ask questions of Hamas propagandist Ahmed Yousef. Yousef has previously stated that 'Zionists' were behind the 9/11 attacks, but you won't find any mention of this disturbing and discrediting context in the Globe. The simple reality is that giving any kind of forum to a group like Hamas means literally giving a forum to a group that advocates genocide. It's especially sad that the editors of the Globe will give a hearing to Hamas but would never do the same for Christian evangelicals that live right within Canada.
