Thank you. ;-; I don't mind people not liking the ship because ya it has its problems and hey. But some of the hate seems pretty vicious at times which is why I check /tagged/togafuka rather than /search/togafuka because I know what I'll find there.

Wow does she know she’s not actually Marceline? I’m laughing at how ridiculous this is but I’m also really mad now I can’t believe she said that.

I DON'T THINK SHE DOES. The way she was talking about her assessments of the characters was really weird too, like she was kinda scared of PB? And it was like I wanted to say "it's okay she won't hurt you she's not real". She was really weird.

I thought someone might ask so I went back and found it

See the subject of Marceline/Bubblegum came up (actually it didn’t at all, she bought it up just because their friendship was mentioned) and she was getting all haughty about “FANS MAKING ASSUMPTIONS” and that got me kinda wary but THEN a kid asks her if there was any decision on the show she ever got mad about and she said “Well, not really! Well after the Marceline-Bubblegum scandal (seriously?) I went to the studio and was like “seriously? You guys have got me liking girls now? come on!”

and wow I wasn’t gonna listen to her talk about how playing a character who likes girls is OMG SO SCANDALOUS AND QUESTIONABLE seriously fuck that but it wasn’t anything I felt was worth making a scene about esp with kids there and stuff (though it makes me mad she’s influencing these kids) so yeah I just left. 

So yeah, if I recall correctly she also talked about how it made her her feel so ~awkward~ around Hynden and what the fuck why should it? Do you feel awkward around the guy who plays Marceline's ex? Yeah, I was majorly disappointed in her as a person. It's really sad to find out someone who plays a character you like is a homophobic asshole who goes on rants for no reason.
