There are 365 days in a year. (366 for a leap year)

Subtract the days that come after December 25. (6 days)

That leaves you with 359 days. (360 for a leap year)

Divided by 2 (to split the year in half) is 179.5 days. (180 for a leap year)

If we start counting forward from January 1, the 179th day is June 28. But since there's a 0.5 day in there, it carries over a bit into June 29. (It’s just June 28 for a leap year)

Final conclusion: Since 2016 is leap year, June 28 is Satan's birthday.

Next year, in 2017 (and for every non-leap year), it will be 12am midnight on June 28 to 12pm noon on June 29.
