Last summer we had our first #gensend students serve our city and 3 have already returned live and serve with @sendpittsburgh! This is the vision and the dream!!! @graceingoldsby has really never left serving as an arts intern with @vintagechurchpgh in partnership with @coe22. @daviddom1 just started as the @sendrelief center journeyman and will be a part of the core team for @thesteelcitychurch, a church plant from @shandonbaptist. @__whenuwannapaigemeitsok__, who is playing keys in the second pic, has returned to do a sports internship and is serving with @vintagechurchpgh. A dream team has already been built in Pittsburgh and I am so thankful. I’m still blown away by all that Jesus has done over the last 3 weeks @vintagechurchpitt. I was able to take a couple weeks off and preach at 2 of our partner churches. During this break, #gensend missionaries rocked into the city and immediately made an impact, we welcomed @thejakesmith and his family to Pittsburgh (who drops some #newmusic tomorrow), our vTeams went above and beyond to love people, and we had 6 of our staff (@kylehurlburt, @amsewell777, @bockelchamp, @kencordray, Greg, and Sean) bring the Word leading people to follow Jesus. Today I loved listening to these incredible leaders while preparing to preach this Sunday. As we continue our Revealed Series we will discover in Nehemiah what it takes to finish strong. One of those elements is to lock in with a strong team.
