This wasn’t good.
This wasn’t at all good.
He was lost.
He was lost in the middle of the forest, without any means to locate where his family might have headed off to or to determine which way was to civilization.
His family, inclusive of himself, of course, had gone out to camp. They had enjoyed the whole day (since it had been sunny and very, very fair) and were getting ready for a peaceful slumber, but the sudden rumbling of thunder and the flashes of lightning (which came out of nowhere, and were totally unexpected – might he add) indicated horrible weather for the night.
Not having brought a tent, only sleeping bags (as he had mentioned, the weather had been fair the entire trip, plus the newscast that morning said that the skies would be clear for the whole day), the family decided to head over to their vehicle and drive home.
Unfortunately, they had underestimated the night and the timing of the damned precipitation. Whilst still travelling the path towards where they parked their car, clouds clumped together, causing darkness to reign over the senses of sight and the rain fell, making it even harder to see than it already was.
Due to these scenarios, Nagisa managed to get lost in the middle of the running and the panicking, and well – here he was completely alone in the dark and in the harsh rain.
A loud rustling of the bush behind him made his ears perk and jerk towards the direction of the noise. Perhaps it was his mother or father, or even one of his sisters.
”Who’s there?”
