I'm so conditioned to believe Steve's parents are absent by default and never home for long, but now I am realising that, shit, Steve might have been stuck with them being under the same roof as him for a solid 18 months during the quarantine. OR they never made it back into Hawkins before the quarantine was put in place.

I don't know which I prefer. Probably a 'pick your poison' kind of deal cus it is whump either way. I, however, have run into a plot hole because of this and have to make a decision quick. I am a sucker for the Harrington Residence being the sleepover hotspot, so I might just kick the parents out. Steve is 20 by the time season 5 begins, so dear old mom and pop might have chosen to stay outside of Hawkins, provided they were already outside when the quarantine began.

So... I wanted to throw some post-war things of mine at @gammaraydeath and it got me thinking.

I am planning to build a whole Star Decaying AU (there are significant changes to me2 events outcome and... Well. All stakes and events of ME3 are gonna get rebuild from the ground up to "No starchild", "No sudden plans to building the crucible" and it's snowballing into something... Completely new)

So would my reader be upset seeing some spoilers of those changes? (i'm still saving the most grim things until it happens) Or would you be interested in knowing them beforehand and maybe discussing and throwing ideas at me?

How do you find ANYTHING??? What do you do when a fic’s deleted?? How do you remember which fic it was?? Especially when you read a LOT of fics for the same fandoms…
