To Wright (while hiding out in Rouge's Tavern just after Maya's "death" in PLvsPW): I suppose this may sound morbid, but I have a logical question: You saw the cage containing Ms. Fey drop into the fire, but did you actually see her body itself be consumed by the fire? Edgeworth, I appreciate you trying to make me feel better, but I saw that cage drop straight into the fire, with Maya in it. There was nowhere for her to go. Barnham already told me she’s gone, and not even magic can bring her back...

Phoenix, which of your accomplishments in the courtroom are you most proud of? And Maya, which of Phoenix's accomplishments in the courtroom are you most proud of him for?

I don’t really think I can answer that properly, because none of my accomplishments have been solely mine. I couldn’t have won any of the cases I did without help from Maya, and usually a lot more people are involved, too. 

If I think about it as a group accomplishment, then probably getting rid of Dahlia once and for all. There was so much mystery in that case, I’m glad I had everyone around me to help. I never could have done it by myself.

That’s nice and all, but I have to go with the fact that Nick somehow convinced the Judge to let a parrot testify in court. A parrot. I don’t think any other lawyer could pull that off. Just Nick.

Athena, you first met Pearl during the Shipshape Aquarium case. As you've probably found out by now, she's been wanting Maya and Mr. Wright to get together since she was little. She seemed a little suspicious of you when she first met you, which is why she asked Mr. Wright who you were. Am I right in thinking that once she found out that you're his employee and not his girlfriend, she took the first chance she got to tell you all about his "special someone"?

I hope she didn’t think I was his girlfriend. Mr. Wright looks pretty good for his age but I’d still like to think I look too young for him!

Anyway, I do remember her warming up to me once Mr. Wright introduced us properly, and later on that day she almost made me think Maya already was Mr. Wright’s girlfriend, the way she called them ‘special someones’ and all. I only found out from Mr. Wright later that they were only friends at the time. Pearl could’ve fooled me.

Maya, did you ever find out exactly what Phoenix tried to do while you were "out of commission" during the Hazakurain case and what happened to him as a result? And did the two of you arrange some sort of thank-you gift to Edgeworth (and possibly even Franziska) for his/their help?

I did! At first I was pretty mad at him for risking his life like that, but it’s kind of hard to stay mad at the guy who runs across a burning bridge for you, especially when I think about how scared Nick was the first time we crossed it, when it wasn’t on fire.

Franziska and Edgeworth refused any thank you gifts, and Franziska especially didn’t like the hug I forced on her. Mr. Edgeworth just asked me to please stay out of trouble from then on. I guess I broke that promise, but it’s not exactly my fault when people want to kidnap me or frame me for murder!

Maya, did you know that not only did Larry once play the Steel Samurai in a live-action theater production, but that Edgeworth saw it and liked it? (Only to be somewhat traumatized when he found out that Larry was behind the mask, but still.)

What?! No one ever told me this! That’s so cool, I actually know someone who played the Steel Samurai! 

Now excuse me while I have a word with Mr. Edgeworth for never telling me this, and then call up Larry to ask him about it!

Ema secretly believes that people think she’s weird because of her forensics obsession. So any sign of respect towards her knowledge or skills in forensics means a lot more to her than people think. This contributes to the fierce loyalty she feels towards the people she cares about. - @geodude96
