After a little soul-searching and serious consideration, I've decided to include Geoluread with my for-sale subadults. It's been really emotionally hard feeling like I'm "giving up" on some snakes by selling them, but I need to be realistic with my space and time and narrow my focus to just a few select breeding projects.

Still, I'm going to probably shed a few silent tears over this boy when it's time to say goodbye.

The color orange in the English language was named after the fruit in the early 1500s. Prior to this, the color was referred to as geoluread, meaning “yellow red.”

Geoluread is Hatshepsut’s holdback son from 2019 and he’s every bit as yellow-red as his mother.

Geoluread 'yay-o-la-reed' was the original name for orange and means yellow-red, oranges were called that a few hundred years before the color was renamed.
