George McGrath arrived in Los Angeles with ambitions of being an actor. His first television appearance was on an episode of the game show Password Plus. A few years later he landed the role of Globey on Pee Wee’s Playhouse and wrote the screenplay to Big Top Pee Wee (1988) with Paul Reubens.
