The Easybeats - A Very Special Man (1966)

Until recently, I'd never heard this gem, which was hidden on an Australia-only EP. Written by George Young and Stevie Wright, it features that very distinctive guitar playing of Harry Vanda. Pretty cool stuff.

All titles first released in Australia in February 1975 except jailbreak released in June 1976.

AC/DC's debut album was released in Australia and New Zealand on 17 February 1975.

Produced by former Easybeats members Harry Vanda and George Young (George was the older brother of Angus and Malcolm), High Voltage was recorded in 10 days, with Bon Scott on vocals (he had joined the group in September 1974, 2 months before recording began), and bassist Rob Bailey and drummer Tony Correnti.

High Voltage peaked at #14 in Australia. An album of the same name was released internationally in 1976, which combined songs from the band's first 2 albums (some in edited versions), mostly from T.N.T. (released in Australia and New Zealand in December 1975), with only 2 songs from the original High Voltage release.
