George rolled his shoulders back, looking around the bar. It was still unfamiliar to him seeing as it was only his second night on, but if he had confidence in anything, it was that he knew how to make a drink. Fortunately, it seemed like the worker before him had taken care of the customers sitting around, so he used the time to familiarize himself with the layout.
As with any bar, the good alcohol was on the top shelf. Most likely no one would be walking in on a Friday asking for it, so George lowered his eyes to the shelves before it. Vodka, rum, tequila, gin, and whiskey sat in direct eyesight. There were a few different brands of each, all of which were familiar to him. His eyes paused as he passed a bottle of Zubrowka, grinning. If anyone asked him to pick for them, he knew what his go-to would be.
No bar is complete without its draughts, however. He stepped over to look across their assortment, noticing the usual Stella, Sam Adams, a cider, a few seasonals, and an IPA. There were some local brands bottled in the fridge below that George was about to look at before he caught sight of a customer waiting.
Immediately standing up, he offered the customer an embarrassed smile as he wiped his hands on his pants.. “I’m sorry about that, didn’t see you there. Can I get you something?”
