I always love your cat posts, esp bc my cat is also named Bailey! I've never met another cat named Bailey! My boy is very affectionate as well 🥺

And that’s so cool! I never have either - most people seem to think it’s an odd name for a cat, especially since he’s a boy. It took me a good several days to find a name for him when we brought him home from the shelter. He’s just so sweet and quiet, and when he was younger his fur on his body was very pale and creamy colored. Actually his adoption-day comes up this month! Around the 17 I believe. Anyway, I eventually thought of Bailey and it seemed to fit.

He actually has a middle name too which he got several months later. We take our cats out for supervised outdoor time in the backyard, and Bailey, once he stopped being afraid to even go out there, really likes to walk around smelling all the flowers! My mom said if we’d know we could have named him Ferdinand like the bull from the story - so we made it his middle name! 😂
