An advertising account is available for all PlaceTime users. 

The main feature of advertising in PlaceTime is the options for choosing the time and radius of the advertising broadcast. 

At the moment, the advertising range is local, its range is adjustable from 500 meters to 10 km around the location of a business or a specific profile. 

In the future, the PlaceTime application will be expanded in advertising to increase coverage and add detailed targeting. 

Also, a regional advertising service will  appear very soon, which will be broadcast on a larger scale and cover the entire city or country as a whole.

It will be paid separately from the main advertising account and will be available to large companies, bloggers, etc.

Geolocation is refers to the geographical (latitudinal and longitudinal) location of an Internet-connected device.

Not your location, but the location of whatever electronic medium is being used to access the Internet.

So, if you leave your phone in your car and go for an hour-long , your geolocation history for that hour is the physical location of your car.

When a company wants to recognize where an app user is, it uses geolocation data. How it works?

Smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, fitness trackers etc. are fairly easy to use with geolocation. (How far do I have to drive to nearest supermarket? Did I run enough miles to burn off the calories from last midnight cake?) 

If  the population density is low, the accuracy of the work of geolocation is low too, because the collection of data based on devices depends on GPS and cellular networks, due to the large amount of a large network of information (triangulation).

Therefore, for device-based data collection users must allow location on every device (and per app).
