What is a community and why is this wording in PlaceTime?
The community in PlaceTime is an online community of people united around the same business or interest. Their place of residence does not matter, because the participants communicate on social networks.
We created PlaceTime to help businesses connect with their audiences.
In our application, we chose the term “community” because it is an international term, and another of our goals is to blur the boundaries and unite people around the world:
▫️ with common interests;
▫️regular online communication;
▫️ with personal interaction between the participants;
▫️community members' awareness of their belonging to it;
▫️appearance of users with certain functions.
Together, community members form a lot of user-generated content. The owners of any business that can have its own community are interested in its creation and development.
By creating a community in PlaceTime, you become its manager, and not just a member - you have the following responsibilities:
▫️creation and design of the community;
▫️ attracting new members of the community;
▫️ creating resonant discussions;
▫️ holding online and offline events;
▫️ maintaining an emotional atmosphere.
To register a community, go to the "business" tab - "create a community". Fill out a short questionnaire, specify the name of your community, its description, contact information and, if necessary, the mode of operation. Upload a profile photo to finish off the page and be sure to keep your profile active!
The point on the map will always be visible, regardless of your personal visibility mode.
You can delegate responsibilities for the development of your community - by appointing administrators - they will help you not to be distracted from important matters.
