Go back to September 1938 in the German City of Munich... A time when Britain's Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain took on the might of fascist Europe in negotiations. A time when the League of Nations looked redundant and air of appeasement drove negotiations with many European nations still in PTSD after the Great War. In such uncertain times and an aggressive stance exerted by Germany around its claims around Sudetentland and Czechoslovakia. Britain took the lead, negotiating a hard or soft (depends how you look at it) 'Euroexit' deal. Chamberlain, proclaimed "a peace in our time." Hitler is rumoured to be ecstatic at the deal, which set up a platform to occupy all of Czechoslovakia in the coming months. He's also reported to say back in Berlin after the treaty "Gentlemen, this has been my first international conference and I can assure you that it will be my last".
