Anselm Kiefer is everywhere these days in Paris: a magnificent exhibition in the @le_grand_palais ephemere, an art work in the french @lepantheondeparis and the opening of a solo show at @thaddaeusropac in Pantin. There was a huge crowd today to marvel at the super sizeed paintings. I have to admit that I always feel overwhelmed by both, the magnitude, foolishness, beauty and technique of his work. I love the way he uses oil paint to texture and add layers over layers to his paintings.
