Hi, you wanted an easy read. I adore "the appletart of hope" by Sarah Moore Fitzgerald. It might be more something aimed at your students (if I've connected the right username to person) but it is a very calm and bittersweet book about friendship, loss, life and wanting it to end. I love it a lot 🍎🍏
