So Germans take driving very seriously. To get a license it's quite the process and costly. But this reminds me the first time I drove in Germany. I ended up driving into the Glockenspiel area in Munich. In 32 days Micheline and I will be taking our leap. We have secured a place to stay for the next six weeks in Munich; While we look for our next property. The cost of living in Munich is roughly that of downtown Philadelphia or New York. The food costs generally are lower and we’re looking to utilize public transportation and bicycling a lot more than the US car.
