So when Bekah's bored, she comes up with canons. Then I save them, and plan to write them in the summer when I'm bored as hell because I have no life.
So last night I was so bored, and wrote one, so I'm posting it here for her and all my followers to read.
I apologize for anything, just in case.
Germany sat on the front porch, staring up at the sky with his brother next to him, each of them holding a bottle of beer.
“Looks like it’s gonna rain.” Prussia said. “I should head home. The awesome me can’t get wet.”
Germany rolled his eyes at his brother’s idea of being the awesomest person alive, but ignored it, as he always did. “ja, Gute Nacht”
Prussia left, and Germany jumped a bit as the giant boom of thunder. He chuckled lightly, thinking of what a big storm it was going to be. Unlike some people, he found it relaxing to listen to the thunder and rain.
He grabbed himself another bottle of beer, sitting next to the window and gazing outside as the dark gray clouds loomed overhead. Any second, it’d start raining.
Finally, a giant boom echoed throughout the land, followed by a bright flash, and the rain started to pour slowly, though it quickly sped up until you could barely see 10 feet away.
He finished his beer and looked at the time. 10 o’clock. It just occurred to him that he hadn’t seen his Italian friend for a while.
His thoughts were interrupted by an unexpected boom, and another bright flash, lighting up the room. The wind whistled as the rain beat down.
Deciding that he might as well go to bed, he started up the stairs, when another roll of thunder hit. This time, though, a small shriek was followed by it. The lightning flashed and lit up the dark hallway, although no one was there.
He waited a second, confused, until another boom came. This one was loudest of them all, shaking the house a little. Another squeal came, followed by quiet sobs, and Germany followed them to Japan’s guest room. He was slightly confused, as he never thought of Japan as a wuss. Then he became more confused as he realized Japan wasn’t staying, as he was visiting China.
Following the sobs to under the bed, he got on his knees and lifted the blankets that hung over the edge, revealing Italy, who was curled up under the bed, crying.
Germany stood frozen for a second, unsure what to do. Finally, after another deafening boom struck, and Italy sobbed harder, he coughed out, “Italy?”
Italy didn’t seem to hear him, or if he did, ignored him. Germany, unknowing how to this situation, kneeled awkwardly next to the bed.
After his crying got the best of him, Germany slowly, gently, pulled Italy out from under the bed. Italy, crying a little more at this, resisted a bit.
Germany took a breath. “Italy, relax.” He said. “You’re fine.”
“The storms...” Italy sobbed out.
“It’s fine. You’re safe inside.”
“What if I’m not?”
“I promise you, you are.”
Italy wiped his tears, though fresh ones quickly replaced them. Germany looked at his pathetic friend, took a breath, then looked away. “If you want... you can sleep in my bed tonight.”
Italy stopped for a second, then smiled. “R-really?”
Germany hesitated. “Ja.”

Later, Germany relaxed to the sounds of the rain on the roof and the thunder, while the lightning lit up the room every so often.
Italy, who had tried keeping his distance at first, clung to Germany after the first boom.
“Germany?” Italy softly said.
“Ja?”
“Thank you for letting me sleep with you.”
“You’re welcome.” Germany replied.
there was a small paused, then Italy relaxed a bit.
“Good Night, Germany.”
“...Gute Nacht, Italy.”
