HISTORY!
Watching a historical thing about the Mongol Feigned Retreat. It was devastating to armies that just kept falling for it again and again over centuries.
They mentioned one of the mongols named Subotai and the guy they showed was this:

Happy 76th Birthday to Gerry Lopez.
Most will know Gerry Lopez from Conan the Barbarian (1982) but his true passion was surfing. Mr. Lopez is a world renown suffer and "Shaper" of custom boards.
Gerry Lopez was one of the best pipeline riders in the world, he won Pipeline Masters in 1972 and 1973. The Pipeline Masters would be called the Gerry Lopez Pipeline Masters until the death of Andy Irons in 2010. As mentioned, he played Subotai on Conan the Barbarian, but most of his movies, to include his first one were surfing related. Big Wednesday (1978), by director John Milius who was an avid surfer himself, was Gerry's first movie. John Milius and Gerry Lopez would do a number of movies together. Here's to you Mr. Gerry Lopez.
