Your torso gently comes into contact with Gerty's metal. Gerty didn't exactly have eyes like yours to look into, yet, you stared at the floor in shyness. Who can blame you, he's your romantic interess. Gerty's robotic claw grabs your left hand, giving you a slight fright from his cold claw.

You look at Gerty's little screen, only to find that big, cute smile of his on that yellow face. Your face reddened. What a dumb and cute smile.

"Is this alright?" He asked. You nodded almost immediately.

You move only a few inches closer to Gerty. The butterflies in your stomach sing, and without much thought, you lay your head on top of Gerty. Your free hand approaches Gerty's right side, considering it's the closest thing to a waist. Your fingers accidentally come into contact with the large wire in Gerty's shape, and soon you grab his side.

"...You're pretty" You muttered. You don't even know if you wanted to say this. Perhaps the famous 'follow your heart' line has gone too far for you.

A brief three-second silence "You think?" Another short silence "...Thank you, Y/N. It's unexpected to see people attracted to me. You're too, very pretty for me."

Your heart fluttered at the AI's words, and you could feel your face gently burn. If you were to tell your child self from the past that you fell in love with an AI, would they believe it?

A song started to play, one you didn't know the name of, but it had a slow, quiet speed, not much instruments were detected.

Vibrating for the day you add Gerty from Moon (possibly even the robot from Lost in Space, Clatrap from Borderlands, the Wall-E cast, or even ATLAS and P-body??) to the android friends roster I don't mean to sound like "pUT THEM IN RARGH" I apologize if this comes off that way!!

Lol, anon actually reached out to me again and was like “I didn’t see you said you weren’t adding anymore androids I’m so sorry” and it’s fine!!! It doesn’t come off as that at all, and tbh, as I’ve stated before, while I don’t intend to put any more now, it doesn’t mean I don’t have interest in adding more in the future.

I think what I probably mean is that I’m no longer ACTIVELY seeking ais to put in the story/draw.

And I do have a Gerty design actually! I don’t know if he’ll ever be in the story proper but it is fun just to have a little design for him 😌

Humanized Gerty3000 from the movie Moon (2009) That film was great and one of its best parts was this adorable and caring robot. I liked how he turned out good, my expectations to get another evil AI betrayal in sci-fi were pleasantly broken.
