If Brian Azarello expects me to believe for one nanosecond that any version of Jason Todd would shoot himself instead of the Joker because "it wouldn't make a difference" I wanna know what he's smoking so I can avoid it like the goddamn plague.

One story. Is that seriously too much to ask for??? One story where the writer at least pretends to have any respect for this fucking character.

I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. The moment Jason got taken down by three cops two pages into the first issue, I should have known. Gotta just trust my gut on these things. I don't remember the last time a comic with Jason made me sideye something in the opening act and then panned out and made sense for this character.

Actually, it may have been Future State by Joshua Williamson.

It's a good thing Get Joker was left "open ended" because the only way it's an even remotely interesting story is if the Joker finally fucking dies.

But it's amazing to me that even in a black label book that doesn't effect continuity, DC can't fucking nut up and follow through on killing the joker on screen.

anyways im interested in this book....just a bit...wished they'd swear more, still dont understand jason being on a suicide squad cause hes too popular to have any real stakes but also like at this point im pretty sure the government already knows bruce is batman, it just doesnt make much sense that dc seems to imply EVERYONE knows in universe that jason todd is back to life, it just doesn't make sense and i tend to ignore l*bdell’s shit writing but i guess there would be no point in secret identities but writers nowadays seems to hate secret identities

Joker overload right now with all the comics he is popping up in, but this first issue was everything I hoped it would be and more. Different costumes changes for joker is always a plus and clockwork orange vibes as well is always a win.

Looking forward to this comic series with task force x being given the almost impossible mission of killing the clown prince of crime.
