Is it too late to start skateboarding at 23? I still remember when I tried when I was younger I gave up because I could never land any tricks.
it’s never too late! though if being injured is an issue for your work then you’re gonna have to keep it somewhat chill. i recommend taking aikido to learn how to roll when you fall, or a gymnastics tumbling class. it took me 2 years to learn how to kickflip so don’t get discouraged ;) certain tricks you may never get, but you can learn most tricks if you just try enough times — see you in a thousand kickflips ;) but in the meantime, to keep you stoked, you can have a ton of fun literally just doing these simple but rad tricks that feel amazing:
*don't go too slow on these ones or they don't work lol
skateparks can be really intimidating but they can also push you to get better. just gotta skate with people that get you stoked. i learned so much just skating in my alley & on my street in the early years, hours & hours of fun :) but ultimately it’s your homies that’ll keep the stoke alive :D
