How do they handle rejection?
Byakuya is very unused to being told ‘no’. As a child, the only people that dared deny him were his close family so he grew up somewhat spoiled and used to making demands of those below him. As an adult, his attitude changed but not his expectations. While this matters less with matters not of a personal nature, when they are his own wants and he cannot understand the reason for being denied, Byakuya can become quite cold and aloof for some time, or sometimes frustrated enough to close everyone out, and he will take a long time to thaw--sometimes months if the apparent slight is strong enough.
