What does freedom mean to you!? Does it mean more money? Being your own boss? Having a boat? Having all the toys you want? I agree all of those things sound amazing and some of those I want to achieve. However after changing how I think, I truly believe that freedom lives inside your mind. You could have more money, be your own boss, have every thing you ever wanted...but if you are in a state of misery and worry you're just going to have alot of stuff and be miserable. I've met people with nothing who are more free in their mind than people with anything they want. Take the scene from Shawshank Redemtion for instance where Andy is in solitary after the music incident(if you haven't seen it or read it go do that!!) He remarks that he had the music to keep him company and points to his head when he is telling his friends about it. You are only free if you're free in the mind. I truly believe freedom isn't attained through items or money but by gratitude for the things you have, the relationships you build and the feeling inside you that tells you, you are blessed and highly favored, you deserve only good and only good things will happen to you. Believe it, preach it and live by the freedom inside your mind. Because at the end of the day you are the only vessel you know, your body and your mind are all you have through the entire journey we call a life. Ingenuity and persistence are the keys to success. Anyone who has accomplished great things has persisted through the roughest times you can imagine, they have lived through the storm of life. And lo! In the year 1969 Man walked on the moon. An impossible notion merely a few years before and and absolutely impossible feat for the 200,000 years before it. Many say NO! That didn't happen they look at the conspiracy theories and read an article proclaiming to be educated on the fact we did not walk on the moon. How do you stay motivated on a regular basis? Listening to a motivational speech is great...but fleeting.
