Get Heisty - An Unforgettable Dance Benefit:
If you’re free on Saturday, June 17th, an incredible dance benefit, dubbed Get Heisty might just be your ticket to a night of childlike fun. It’s open to anyone 21+ and costs $20 at the door, but all proceeds will go to a number of different charities, including Save the Children, Operation Gift A Smile, InHerShoes, and Anything is Possible Foundation.
The event allows adults to dance like kids while helping underprivileged children access to a better life. Unique and exciting, this benefit promises to be full of wonder for both kids and adults throughout LA.
What do we think this will be like? Honestly, it may not be what you’re looking for if you prefer life as an adult. But for anyone willing to regress to a younger time through music and dance, this event promises to dazzle. No, there won’t be a bouncy castle, piñatas or clowns, but there will be other adults who look just as silly as you dancing like children.
Want me to conveniently rehash the event details in one section? Why didn’t you just ask?! Get Heisty takes place on Saturday, June 17th at the Reserve (650 S Spring St. Los Angeles, CA 90014) from 6 PM to 10 PM. You must be 21+ to get in and the theme is an 80’s Heist. Ridesharing is encouraged since street parking will be sparse (though still available), and tickets cost $20. Snacks will be provided and all proceeds will go to one of four great charities.
