My constant dream
In recent years, print books have seen a resurgence, and for good reason, they can be better for our brain and health.
You can take a book (paper or screen) on a plane or train, to the beach or to a hospital appointment. Sitting alone in a cafe or restaurant becomes a less solitary experience if you are accompanied by a book.
No one knows what you are doing, no one can reach you, no one knows where you are. No one can cut you off from your own little world, from this intimate moment, from yourself. You are alone. You are okay. All you need to do in this moment is fill the time with what you like, whether that is music, a book, a daydream, a recipe, a bit of gardening, or simply any activity that you enjoy
Or I could just read a book and forget about the world
Fortify your wall from the invasive forces of ignorance.
To be able to escape the world like the Little Prince is to be able to create another one tailored for us. Nothing is fixed in the continuum of life; everything is simply desires, dreams, and inflections that we learn how to project so that, eventually, the most beautiful images from our imagination become part of a real life that we are living.
What will you do with your book which is too big to read?
