Since the Garden reopened in June, staff and volunteers have worked to make the Children's Garden ever more welcoming, with new signage and activity areas. Thanks to the generosity of Kaiser Permanente we've been able to successfully reconfigure Bean Sprouts Family Days to serve over 1,500 children, family members and caregivers through November. 🌱 Help support the Garden share plant-joy and plant-knowledge with everyone. Bean Sprouts Family Days presented by @kpthrive continue through December starting tomorrow, December 1! 🌱 The free fun continues through the rest of the year, with activity buckets available for pre-registered families. Kids of all ages get hands-on in the Children's Garden, and adults have a great time too! Dig holes, fill watering cans, collect treasures, toss pine cones, and above all, exercise your imagination! This month we'll have new take-home kits so you can continue the fun at home. 🌱 We hope to expand our programs in 2021, resources permitting, so that we can offer Bean Sprouts more often, including weekends. The fact that these kids get to do stuff like this for hours EVERY. SINGLE. DAY... that’s one of the best parts about homeschooling.
