the past couple of days had been agony. having nearly SNAPPED her ankle in a training accident, it had swollen around double the size it was supposed to be. at first when it was more of a burning sensation & skin an eyesore shade of red, she had bared with it. as the red had mingled into a deep hue of purple, it was at that moment that she KNEW she needed to get it checked up on. a friend had recommended a person. a scrap of paper with an address & name scribbled on in chicken scratch handwriting. eyes shifted to stare at the door before her. she slowly limped to the door, pained hissing in detest were hushed through gritted teeth before knuckles tapped against the door. awkwardly lingered before the door in wait.

“So here we are: patient and doctor.” Cecilia sat slouched in the chair before his desk. She had been transferred ‘up’ a ward due to her refusal to take medication and her inability to cooperate. But she had her reasons. The girl in white glared at him haughtily. She gave her cigarette a tap, ash scattering onto his floor. “So. Here to admonish me or inform me about the conditions here?” She takes a drag from her cigarette.“I understand I might get electro-shock therapy tomorrow afternoon,” she adds, a bundle of smoke dispersing from her blossom tiers. I SHOULDN’T BE TREATED LIKE THIS.
