"Snowdrops!" I'm still catching up with some past boxes who are still lying around unused, because I was in a bit of a creative slump in December and January and didn't have a lot of time for creativity either. But I'm feeling that it's getting better. This is the December @getsketchbox from 2022. A great mixed media box but with an unusual colour combination. "Lighthouse Cascais" The June @getsketchbox was full of #colouredpencils. I was a tiny bit disappointed that I got the replacement set of the @derwentartofficial #chromaflowpencils as they had not enough of their curated set which has some interesting colours included. However the box was fun as I could try @holbeinartistmaterials pencils and their blender solution Meltz for the first time. I played a bit with my @getsketchbox from March and did the @mayandberry mixed media homework in one Go. The tinted charcoal pans are interesting and I never really use charcoal pencils and never owned a pastel pencil before. Some bright #crocus I yearn for sunny days. They were only some rare sunny hours in this month, so I'm really looking forward to the surely coming spring. It's not that I don't like winter, but I prefer mostly clear and cold weather with some snowy days over a persistent grey and rainy sky. So it's nice to bring some bright colours in to your life. Today late at night, I finished this cozy, nostalgic Christmas scene with December's @getsketchbox. This box is so well put together. I especially like the colour palette. It gives you almost the feel of these old sepia photographs. I'm not entirely content with my result as some details are messed up.
