rhyme and reason

I live a life of reason, of rhyme; I know where the lines have been drawn. I’m perfectly willing to stay in my box as long as it has the right labels—does it? I can’t see from inside—but I’ll laugh so easily, and I’ll cry so silently, and I’ll try and reach past the lines and be burned. I’ll rhyme and I’ll reason and I’ll want for the world outside of this box and—having sealed myself in— I’ll never be able to climb out.
