Running
As the sun rises over the city, My heart is pounding with excitement, For today I embark on my first run, To conquer the endless miles ahead.
The air is crisp and clean, And my breaths become lighter each step, As I take in the freshness of nature, And the quietness that's so calm.
My mind turns to thoughts of yesterday, Of how far I've come since first steps, But now the road ahead is all mine, To set my pace and follow where I may.
As I step out into the unknown, I hear the rustling of leaves around me, And feel the earth beneath my feet gripping, In anticipation for what's to come.
The sun's rays dance on my face, As I take in its warm embrace, And I breathe in deep and let it fill my lungs, To prepare me for this journey ahead.
I start at a moderate pace, But as the miles begin to add up, My steps quicken and my pace becomes tougher, As I push through the pain and beyond.
For every step that I take, Is a victory in itself, And with each leg stretched out ahead, I feel ready for whatever lies ahead.
The sensations of running, Are as diverse as my mind's eye, A symphony of thoughts and emotions, While still maintaining balance and control.
For every run, I find myself gaining more, In patience, in endurance, in grace, As I push through the pain, the fear, And ultimately triumph in this race.
So here I am, on my feet, Running for my health and my joy, My body strong and ready to conquer, Every obstacle that lies ahead.
