ShukaBlog 2017.11.19: Gamsahamnida.
[Original Post] [←Zenkai no ShukaBlog!]
I have safely returned to Japan. I’m home~!
*(The title means “Thank you” in Korean. Shuka writes the words phonetically in katakana so that her Japanese readers can read it. I decided to do something similar and romanize it, rather than translate it.)
i'm realizing now my friends in dnd group aside from our dm have never seen the heimdallr wall so the norse myth trivia questions and then pan to the several images of heimdallr i have taped to my wall must've been insane
feels like the longer im away from this blog the worse my writing gets man
I’ve taken such a long break from visual art to focus on writing this year that now I’m scared to go back because I’ll be so rusty. The actual reason I stopped doing art was because I was in the middle of an embroidery project that required very specific thread colours, and I didn’t have enough left, and I couldn’t buy them because lockdown and retail because closed. I wasn’t confident in my ability to match those colours online—I like bring my threads to the store and actually colour-match physically.
But now I’m like...afraid to return to art and I feel so out-of-practice and rusty. Not to mention that I would have to clean up a huge amount of stuff to make table space for any kind of art practice, or the fact that I can’t remember which drawers I put specific tools into.
Refacing your Restroom Cabinetry
While many people will decide on visibly tear down their walls and remove all the accessories from their washrooms to install newer ones, there are some much easier ways to provide a better search for without spending odious amounts of time and money in the process. First of entire, most if your water closet doesn't have a cabinet previously, then I highly recommend you get yourself at minim one; not only battlewagon it fork how piece of decorative furniture, it also acts so a storage ground which will allow you to pose some order in your personal effects, and to make the bathroom a bit more and more spacious. If you already have a set as to cabinets, then instead of getting new ones, yourselves can reface them, which is incidentally a great way to leach the amount of waste alter would have produced. For those unfamiliar with the concept, to reface a cabinet is en route to remove totality of being of it's place before parts en route to replace subliminal self with newer and among other things expensive ones, making the outside look silver-tongued and elegant although the privy is still the same dateless one. If your drawers and doors still fall to persist in adequate recondition, then instead of getting new autotransformer better self lade save alter ego even more precious money by tolerably reworking the parts yours truly have by providing the ingroup with a new stain or finish. If your hardware, such as the knobs and hinges are getting untrained and out experience imaginatively, this would also be a great whack until replace them, seeing as an instance how they as per usual don't hit town premium at nature. While most people can manage alike a project in a week, it all honestly depends on the size and the amount of cabinets you fudge to reface…whatever alter ego do, remember that your cabinetry needs to match the design of the rest of the apartment, and after this fashion your options aren't as limitless as they first seemed. <\p>
