Gen Art Febuari: Movie Night - Kipo & her friends 🌟💜
They’re watching a scary movie together (in my mind, Kipo has seen this one like a hundred times already, Wolf has not seen a movie before in her life and Dave and Benson are really bad with horror 💗)
Can we talk about how the birthday gifts that Kipo and Wolf got each other were an amazing writing choice? Not only do the gifts match the aesthetics of the one who found them, but they also show how the two of them are beginning to value each other’s perspectives on life. When Kipo was looking for a gift for Wolf, she found something that was small enough that it wouldn’t be a burden for Wolf to keep and would still help her fight and survive, while also being cute, showing that Kipo has now truly appreciates Wolf’s pragmatism even though she doesn’t adopt those views herself and is still as determined as ever to making the world around her brighter and happier. Meanwhile, Wolf found Kipo a gift that really has no survival purposes, and though it was mostly destroyed, still chose to salvage a piece of it simply because Kipo liked it, reflecting how Wolf has begun to value Kipo’s ability to see the best in everything, but not yet having embraced it to the extent where she sees it as not worth spending too much energy to do so.

Nader Al-Anqar ( @abdalsalam2000 ) is a Palestinian teenager trying to raise money for his family of seven (parents, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew) to escape the genocide in Gaza, and for his father to get treatment for cancer.
He's been active on tumblr for a long while now, and was one of the first to have their campaigns vetted: #4 on the gazavetters list!
He recently reached his initial goal, €50,000, but was forced to extend the goal to €80,000 because they are waiting for the crossings to open in order to travel to safety and the cost of food in Gaza is now so expensive.
On his recent post he describes his condition:
this occupation is that prevents us from eating and drinking. We are dying of hunger, without exaggeration. We are really dying. We stay all day on lentil soup, and we often go two days without eating a meal that includes bread. Imagine that you are going through such a situation. How would you feel? I am here today to ask you to help me, even a little. Donate to me so that I can buy flour and eat bread, knowing that the price of a 50-kilo bag of flour has exceeded 1,500 euros. We are a family of 8 people and we need to stay alive by eating even one meal a day.
Please continue to support him in his effort to keep his family alive and safe.
